"Every one who thirsts, come to the waters..."

Rector's Thoughts:

Happy January,

While we are well into the Christian year, most devotionals begin with the calendar year. Our devotional for the year begins with the calendar year. The book is called “New Morning Mercies”. It is a daily reflection on the Gospel by Paul Tripp. You can get a copy of this devotional from the Narthex or the link at the bottom of this reflection.

While this devotional has been provided for everyone this year, there are lots of other devotionals that would be beneficial for one’s soul. I would encourage you to take the time to find a devotional that you can engage with for your spiritual growth. Taking time to spend with the Lord this new year should be our primary goal. While there are lots of resolutions that would be good for you and fun, the one that will be trans-formative for your daily life is reading God’s Word.

May you be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit in the reading of God’s word in 2019!
